The selection of craft beers at the bar was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices on tap that I truly enjoyed.
I was disappointed to discover that the kitchen had run out of their chicken pie, yet I was served a beef pie that initially contained chicken instead, which led to a confusing dining experience.

The atmosphere here? Truly charming, like a throwback to simpler times,, with great outdoor space to unwind. Plus, the staff were phenomenal, genuinely friendly and attentive, going out of their way for a smooth experience.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it’s still reasonable.

We had such a cozy stay in our quirky room that felt like a step back in time, and the complimentary breakfast was just the right touch after a hearty dinner. The gardens lit up beautifully at dusk, offering a perfect spot for a relaxing evening stroll. The only downside was the occasional noise from events nearby, but it didn’t really dampen our spirits. 😊

The cottages alongside the pub offer a nice retreat, especially with a serene view of the water. If you're lucky enough to visit during high tide, the outdoor space becomes a beautiful spot for a drink, and the selection of craft beers is a highlight in a city known for them.
Parking can be a hassle. spaces felt tight during peak hours, which can be a bit irritating after a long day. If you're expecting a continental breakfast, double check before you settle in, as the arrangements can change without notice, leaving you with meal options that might come off as mediocre, especially given their pricing. Lastly, I had a rough go with the dining experience—waiting too long for meals without being informed and receiving a disappointing dish that didn’t match its menu description is never fun.

Cozy spot with great vibes
Super chill place! The bar downstairs had solid drinks and a nice atmosphere. Loved the big outdoor space with a beautiful view! Our room was spacious and had a mini fridge, which was handy. Just wish I could've parked a bit easier—seemed a bit tight on spots when we arrived.
